Cypress Creek Cougars (Houston, TX) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Nimitz Cougars (Houston, TX), 56-41 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Cypress Creek upgrades its record to 2-4 on the season. The Cougars travel to Ridge Point (Missouri City, TX) to play the Panthers in a non-league bout on Saturday, November 18. The Panthers go into the bout with a record of 4-1. Ridge Point won 47-41 in their recent non-league bout against Klein Oak (Spring, TX)

Next up, the Cougars play the Houston Christian Mustangs (Houston, TX) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, November 21. Nimitz will attempt to upgrade on its 2-4 season record. The Mustangs go into the bout with a 4-0 record after their 95-72 non-league win over St. Thomas Catholic (Houston, TX).
