St. Augustine Purple Knights (New Orleans, LA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting East Jefferson Warriors (Metairie, LA), 66-47 in a non-league bout.

With the win, St. Augustine upgrades its record to 2-0 on the season. The Purple Knights host Livingston Collegiate Academy (New Orleans, LA) to clash with the Wolves in a non-league bout on Tuesday, November 21. The Wolves go into the bout with a record of 0-1.

Next up, the Warriors clash with the St. Thomas Aquinas Falcons (Hammond, LA) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, November 21. East Jefferson will attempt to upgrade on its 1-1 season record.
