Pittsburg Panthers (Pittsburg, OK) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Konawa Tigers (Konawa, OK), 71-43 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Pittsburg upgrades its record to 1-1 on the campaign. The Panthers host Indianola (Indianola, OK) to play the Warriors in a Pittsburg Eight bout on Tuesday, November 28. The Warriors come into the bout with a record of 2-4. Indianola won 58-39 in their recent non-league bout against Bokoshe (Bokoshe, OK)

Next up, the Tigers play the New Lima Falcons (New Lima, OK) in a non-league bout, on Monday, November 27. Konawa will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record.
