Saugus Centurions (Saugus, CA) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Loyola Cubs (Los Angeles, CA), 68-47 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Saugus upgrades its record to 3-0 on the campaign. The Centurions travel to Crespi (Encino, CA) to play the Celts in a non-league bout on Saturday, November 18. The Celts come into the bout with a record of 3-0. Crespi won 98-79 in their recent non-league bout against Chatsworth (Chatsworth, CA)

Next up, the Cubs play the Oakwood Owls (North Hollywood, CA) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, November 18. Loyola will attempt to upgrade on its 2-1 season record. The Owls come into the bout with a 0-3 record after their 68-63 non-league loss to Village Christian (Sun Valley, CA).
