Georgia High School Basketball - South Cobb holds off New Manchester

November 17, 2023: Austell, GA 30106

Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the South Cobb Eagles (Austell, GA) and the visiting New Manchester Jaguar (Douglasville, GA), saw South Cobb's basketball squad hold off New Manchester by a tally of 66-63.

With the victory, South Cobb improves its record to 2-0 on the campaign. The Eagles host Westlake (Atlanta, GA) to confront the Lions in a non-league challenge on Saturday, November 18. The Lions come into the challenge with a record of 1-0. Westlake won 77-51 in their recent non-league challenge against Griffin (Griffin, GA)

Next up, the Jaguar confront the Hardaway Hawks (Columbus, GA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, November 28. New Manchester will attempt to improve on its 0-2 season record.
