The North Pontotoc Vikings basketball team (Ecru, MS), was toppled 55-42 in Friday's non-league battle with the host Pine Grove Panthers (Ripley, MS)
The Panthers now possess a 2-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hickory Flat for a non-league battle on Monday, November 20. Pine Grove will confront a Rebels team coming off a 59-53 non-league win over East Union (Blue Springs, MS). The Rebels record now stands at 4-2.
The Vikings (2-4) will now prepare for their battle against Hickory Flat (Hickory Flat, MS). The Rebels come into the non-league battle with a 5-3 record. In their last battle, Hickory Flat was toppled by Houlka (Houlka, MS), 64-57, in a non-league battle.
