The Dr. Maya Angelou Community Phoenix football team (Los Angeles, CA), was tipped 27-26 in Friday's non-league challenge with the visiting Fairfax Lions (Los Angeles, CA)

The Lions (9-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Chatsworth (Chatsworth, CA). The Chancellors come into the non-league challenge with a 7-6 record. In their last challenge, Chatsworth nipped San Fernando (San Fernando, CA), 49-28, in a non-league challenge.
