West Virginia High School Football - Independence knocks off Winfield

The Independence Patriots football squad scored 13 points and limited the host Winfield Generals to 0 in the Patriots non-league win on Friday.

The Patriots now possess a 8-3 record. They play next when they travel to Fairmont Senior for a non-league battle on Friday, November 24. Independence will play a Polar Bears squad coming off a 42-0 non-league win over Philip Barbour (Philippi, WV). The Polar Bears record now stands at 9-1.
