The Adrian Matadors basketball team scored 50 points and held the visiting Hedley Owls to 18 in the Matadors non-league triumph on Friday.
The Matadors now sport a 1-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Friona for a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 5.
The Owls (1-6) will now prepare for their contest against Fort Elliott (Briscoe, TX). The Cougars enter the non-league contest with a 1-0 record. In their last contest, Fort Elliott triumphed over Lefors (Lefors, TX), 32-16, in a non-league contest.
