The Morningside Monarchs (Inglewood, CA) basketball nipped the host Bishop Conaty-Loretto Wildcats (Los Angeles, CA), 52-47 in Friday's non-league test.
The Monarchs (1-3) will now prepare for their test against Lawndale (Lawndale, CA). The Cardinals go into the non-league test with a 2-3 record. In their last test, Lawndale got by Narbonne (Harbor City, CA), 31-26, in a non-league test.
