Indiana High School Basketball - Jennings County tops Cathedral

November 17, 2023: North Vernon, IN 47265

Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Jennings County Panthers (North Vernon, IN) and the visiting Cathedral Fighting Irish (Indianapolis, IN), saw Jennings County's basketball squad knock off Cathedral by a count of 57-40.

With the victory, Jennings County upgrades its record to 3-1 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Greensburg (Greensburg, IN) to play the Pirates in a non-league challenge on Saturday, November 18. The Pirates come into the challenge with a record of 3-1. Greensburg won 71-60 in their recent non-league challenge against Shelbyville (Shelbyville, IN)

Next up, the Fighting Irish play the Warren Central Warriors (Indianapolis, IN) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, November 22. Cathedral will attempt to upgrade on its 1-2 season record. The Warriors come into the challenge with a 4-3 record after their 56-16 non-league win over Indianapolis Arsenal Technical (Indianapolis, IN).
