North Carolina High School Basketball - East Mecklenburg fells Berry

November 17, 2023: Charlotte, NC 28208

East Mecklenburg Eagles (Charlotte, NC) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Berry Cardinal (Charlotte, NC), 37-21 in a non-league bout.

With the win, East Mecklenburg upgrades its record to 1-0 on the season. The Eagles travel to Palisades (Charlotte, NC) to play the Pumas in a non-league bout on Tuesday, November 21. The Pumas go into the bout with a record of 1-0. Palisades won 60-18 in their recent non-league bout against Harding University (Charlotte, NC)

Next up, the Cardinal play the Garinger Wildcats (Charlotte, NC) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, November 21. Berry will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Wildcats go into the bout with a 2-0 record after their 65-55 non-league win over Mooresville (Mooresville, NC).
