Freeport Pretzels (Freeport, IL) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Warren Warriors (Warren, IL), 61-54 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Freeport upgrades its record to 3-0 on the season. The Pretzels travel to Galena (Galena, IL) to clash with the Pirates in a non-league bout on Monday, November 20. The Pirates go into the bout with a record of 2-0. Galena won 64-13 in their recent non-league bout against Morrison (Morrison, IL)

Next up, the Warriors clash with the Morrison Mustangs (Morrison, IL) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, November 21. Warren will attempt to upgrade on its 0-3 season record. The Mustangs go into the bout with a 2-2 record after their 53-52 non-league win over East Dubuque (East Dubuque, IL).
