Midland Bulldogs (Midland, TX) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Haltom Buffalos (Haltom City, TX), 39-37 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Midland upgrades its record to 4-2 on the season. The Bulldogs travel to Richland (North Richland Hills, TX) to clash with the Royals in a non-league bout on Saturday, November 18. The Royals go into the bout with a record of 3-2. Richland lost 51-14 in their recent non-league bout against Granbury (Granbury, TX)

Next up, the Buffalos clash with the Joshua Owls (Joshua, TX) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, November 18. Haltom will attempt to upgrade on its 0-4 season record. The Owls go into the bout with a 6-4 record after their 58-43 non-league loss to Krum (Krum, TX).
