The West Rusk Raiders (New London, TX) basketball nipped the host Harts Bluff Bulldogs (Mt. Pleasant, TX), 46-45 in Friday's non-league test.

The Raiders (2-4) will now prepare for their test against Union Grove (Gladewater, TX). The Lions go into the non-league test with a 5-1 record. In their last test, Union Grove got by White Oak (White Oak, TX), 45-21, in a non-league test.
