Huntington Red Devils (Huntington, TX) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Kashmere Fighting Rams (Houston, TX), 61-23 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Huntington upgrades its record to 3-2 on the campaign. The Red Devils host Jasper (Jasper, TX) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league bout on Monday, November 20. The Bulldogs come into the bout with a record of 0-4. Jasper lost 32-17 in their recent non-league bout against Anahuac (Anahuac, TX)

Next up, the Fighting Rams play the Washington Eagles (Houston, TX) in a 4A Region III District 21 bout, on Monday, November 27. Kashmere will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record. The Eagles come into the bout with a 1-3 record after their 66-53 non-league loss to Klein (Klein, TX).
