With the victory, Newman improves its record to 2-1 on the campaign. The Greenies travel to Hahnville (Boutte, LA) to play the Tigers in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, November 28. The Tigers come into the challenge with a record of 1-1. Hahnville won 55-16 in their recent non-league challenge against Franklin (Franklin, LA)

Next up, the Buccaneers play the East St. John Wildcats (Reserve, LA) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, November 27. West Jefferson will attempt to improve on its 0-3 season record. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a 1-0 record after their 48-31 non-league win over Episcopal (Baton Rouge, LA).
