The Pana Panthers basketball team scored 52 points and restricted the visiting Okaw Valley Timberwolves to 45 in the Panthers non-league victory on Friday.
The Panthers now sport a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Gillespie for a non-league contest on Saturday, November 18. Pana will battle a Miners team coming off a 74-50 non-league loss to Mattoon (Mattoon, IL). The Miners record now stands at 0-2.
The Timberwolves (1-2) will now prepare for their contest against Richland County (Olney, IL). The Tigers come into the non-league contest with a 2-0 record. In their last contest, Richland County edged Christ Our Rock Lutheran (Centralia, IL), 46-30, in a non-league contest.
