The Payton College Prep Grizzlies basketball team scored 38 points and held the host Thornton Wildcats to 37 in the Grizzlies non-league triumph on Friday.

The Grizzlies now sport a 5-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hyde Park for a non-league contest on Tuesday, November 28. Payton College Prep will battle a Thunderbirds team coming off a 65-26 non-league win over Proviso East (Maywood, IL). The Thunderbirds record now stands at 4-0.

The Wildcats (2-1) will now prepare for their contest against Argo (Summit, IL). The Argonauts enter the non-league contest with a 0-2 record.
