The West Harrison Hurricanes basketball team (Gulfport, MS), was nudged 41-36 in Friday's non-league battle with the host Petal Panthers (Petal, MS)
The Panthers now possess a 1-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Greene County for a non-league battle on Monday, November 20. Petal will confront a Wildcats team coming off a 54-43 non-league loss to Wayne County (Waynesboro, MS). The Wildcats record now stands at 3-3.
The Hurricanes (1-2) will now prepare for their battle against Bay (Bay St. Louis, MS). The Tigers come into the non-league battle with a 2-1 record. In their last battle, Bay was nudged by Harrison Central (Gulfport, MS), 53-14, in a non-league battle.
