North Carolina High School Basketball - Red Springs overwhelmed by Richmond

The Red Springs Red Devils basketball team (Red Springs, NC), was overwhelmed 72-37 in Friday's non-league battle with the host Richmond Raiders (Rockingham, NC)

The Raiders now possess a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Grace Christian for a non-league battle on Monday, November 20. Richmond will confront a Crusaders team coming off a 62-52 non-league win over Knoxville Catholic (Knoxville, TN). The Crusaders record now stands at 2-0.

The Red Devils (0-1) will now prepare for their battle against Douglas Byrd (Fayetteville, NC). The Eagles come into the non-league battle with a 0-1 record. In their last battle, Douglas Byrd was overwhelmed by St. Pauls (St. Pauls, NC), 84-35, in a non-league battle.
