In Friday's non-league battle, the visiting Stoneman Douglas Eagles soccer squad scored a close 3-2 win over the Spanish River Sharks.
The Eagles (2-1) will now prepare for their battle against Coral Glades (Coral Springs, FL). The Jaguars go into the 7A D13 battle with a 3-0 record. In their last battle, Coral Glades nipped Everglades (Miramar, FL), 4-2, in a non-league battle.
