North Carolina High School Basketball - Cedar Ridge nips Carrboro

Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Cedar Ridge Fighting Red Wolves (Hillsborough, NC) and the host Carrboro Jaguars (Carrboro, NC), saw Cedar Ridge's basketball squad hold off Carrboro by a count of 44-41.

With the victory, Cedar Ridge upgrades its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Fighting Red Wolves host Chapel Hill (Chapel Hill, NC) to play the Tigers in a non-league challenge on Monday, November 20. The Tigers come into the challenge with a record of 0-0.

Next up, the Jaguars play the East Chapel Hill Wildcats (Chapel Hill, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, November 21. Carrboro will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a 1-0 record after their 44-36 non-league win over Southeast Guilford (Greensboro, NC).
