The Carson Cougars basketball team (China Grove, NC), was nudged 48-41 in Friday's non-league battle with the visiting Mount Pleasant Tigers (Mt. Pleasant, NC)

The Tigers now possess a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to East Rowan for a non-league battle on Tuesday, November 21. Mount Pleasant will confront a Mustangs team coming off a 56-28 non-league win over Uwharrie Charter (Asheboro, NC). The Mustangs record now stands at 1-0.

The Cougars (0-1) will now prepare for their battle against A.L. Brown (Kannapolis, NC). The Wonders come into the non-league battle with a 1-0 record.
