In Friday's non-league match, the visiting South Caldwell Spartans basketball team scored a tight 36-29 triumph over the East Burke Cavaliers.
In their next game, the Spartans meet the St. Stephens Indians (Hickory, NC) in a non-league match, on Tuesday, November 21. South Caldwell will attempt to better on its 1-0 season record. The Indians enter the match with a 1-0 record after their 53-21 non-league win over Draughn (Valdese, NC).
