Queen's Grant Stallions (Matthews, NC) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Jackson Day Mariners (Charlotte, NC), 29-20 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Queen's Grant upgrades its record to 2-3 on the season. The Stallions travel to Piedmont (Monroe, NC) to play the Panthers in a non-league bout on Tuesday, November 21. The Panthers go into the bout with a record of 1-0. Piedmont won 43-29 in their recent non-league bout against Jackson Day (Charlotte, NC)

Next up, the Mariners play the Sugar Creek Wildcats (Charlotte, NC) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, November 28. Jackson Day will attempt to upgrade on its 1-3 season record. The Wildcats go into the bout with a 0-3 record after their 38-29 non-league loss to West Mecklenburg (Charlotte, NC).
