The Katella Knights basketball squad (Anaheim, CA), was crushed 66-44 in Monday's non-league contest with the host El Modena Vanguards (Orange, CA)

The Vanguards (1-0) will now prepare for their contest against Tustin (Tustin, CA). The Tillers come into the non-league contest with a 0-0 record.

In their next game, the Knights battle the La Quinta Aztecs (Westminster, CA) in a non-league contest, on Wednesday, November 19. Katella will attempt to better on its 0-1 season record. The Aztecs come into the contest with a 0-1 record after their 55-53 non-league loss to Norwalk (Norwalk, CA).
