In Monday's non-league contest, the host Highland Home Flying Squadron basketball team scored a big 61-21 triumph over the Keith Bears.
The Flying Squadron (1-0) will now prepare for their match against Carroll (Ozark, AL). The Eagles enter the non-league match with a 3-0 record.
The Bears now sport a 2-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Calhoun for a non-league match on Tuesday, November 18. Keith will face a Tigers squad coming off a 58-42 non-league loss to Greenville (Greenville, AL). The Tigers record now stands at 1-1.
