Columbia Wildcats (Columbia, NC) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Southampton Academy Raiders (Courtland, VA), 70-43 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Columbia upgrades its record to 2-0 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to Kenston Forest (Blackstone, VA) to play the Kavaliers in a non-league bout on Saturday, November 19. The Kavaliers come into the bout with a record of 1-2. Kenston Forest won 57-52 in their recent non-league bout against Lawrence Academy (Merry Hill, NC)

Next up, the Raiders play the Lawrence Academy Warriors (Merry Hill, NC) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, November 19. Southampton Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Warriors come into the bout with a 0-2 record after their 57-52 non-league loss to Kenston Forest (Blackstone, VA).
