McKinney Lions (McKinney, TX) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Horn Jaguars (Mesquite, TX), 47-43 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, McKinney upgrades its record to 4-1 on the campaign. The Lions travel to Lewisville (Lewisville, TX) to play the Farmers in a non-league bout on Tuesday, November 22. The Farmers come into the bout with a record of 5-1. Lewisville lost 65-64 in their recent non-league bout against Boyd (McKinney, TX)

Next up, the Jaguars play the Lake Ridge Eagles (Mansfield, TX) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, November 22. Horn will attempt to upgrade on its 4-2 season record. The Eagles come into the bout with a 5-0 record after their 68-44 non-league win over Arlington (Arlington, TX).
