Texas High School Basketball - Shoemaker can't hold off Nixon

The Nixon Mustangs basketball team scored 58 points and held the host Shoemaker Wolves to 54 in the Mustangs non-league triumph on Friday.

The Mustangs now sport a 3-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Johnson for a non-league contest on Friday, November 18. Nixon will battle a Jaguars team coming off a 89-51 non-league loss to Steele (Cibolo, TX). The Jaguars record now stands at 3-1.

The Wolves (1-5) will now prepare for their contest against Lake Travis (Austin, TX). The Cavaliers enter the non-league contest with a 1-0 record.
