The Woodland Wolves basketball team scored 43 points and held the visiting San Juan Spartans to 42 in the Wolves non-league triumph on Friday.

The Wolves now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Natomas for a non-league game on Tuesday, November 22. Woodland will face a Nighthawks team coming off a 83-38 non-league win over Mira Loma (Sacramento, CA). The Nighthawks record now stands at 1-0.

With the defeat, San Juan moves to 0-1 on the year. The Spartans host Florin (Sacramento, CA) to face the Panthers in a non-league game on Tuesday, November 22. The Panthers enter the game with a record of 0-1. Florin lost 52-42 in their recent non-league game against Ben Holt College Prep Academy (Stockton, CA)
