In Friday's non-league match, the host Grimsley Whirlies football squad scored a good 44-36 victory over the Independence Patriots.

In their next game, the Whirlies clash with the Hough Huskies (Cornelius, NC) in a non-league match, on Friday, November 25. Grimsley will attempt to move on its 13-0 season record. The Huskies enter the match with a 11-2 record after their 17-7 non-league win over East Forsyth (Kernersville, NC).
