The Bandys Trojans basketball team scored 39 points and restricted the visiting Thomas Jefferson Gryphons to 31 in the Trojans non-league victory on Friday.

The Trojans now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Foard for a non-league contest on Tuesday, November 22. Bandys will battle a Tigers team coming off a 54-40 non-league loss to Newton-Conover (Newton, NC). The Tigers record now stands at 0-1.

The Gryphons (0-1) will now prepare for their contest against Piedmont Community Charter (Gastonia, NC). The Patriots come into the non-league contest with a 2-1 record.
