Northgate Broncos (Walnut Creek, CA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Benicia Panthers (Benicia, CA), 60-57 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Northgate upgrades its record to 1-0 on the season. The Broncos host De Anza (El Sobrante, CA) to clash with the Dons in a non-league bout on Tuesday, November 22. The Dons go into the bout with a record of 0-2. De Anza lost 74-13 in their recent non-league bout against Miramonte (Orinda, CA)

Next up, the Panthers clash with the Tamalpais Red Tailed Hawks (Mill Valley, CA) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, December 1. Benicia will attempt to upgrade on its 1-1 season record.
