North Carolina High School Basketball - High Point Christian Academy knocked off by Cannon

November 18, 2022: Concord, NC 28027

The Cannon Cougars basketball team scored 66 points and held the visiting High Point Christian Academy Cougars to 47 in the Cougars non-league triumph on Friday.

The Cougars now sport a 2-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Carolina International for a non-league contest on Tuesday, November 22. Cannon will battle a Comets team coming off a 58-18 non-league loss to Concord (Concord, NC). The Comets record now stands at 0-4.

The Cougars (0-1) will now prepare for their contest against Hickory Grove Christian (Charlotte, NC). The Lions enter the non-league contest with a 2-1 record. In their last contest, Hickory Grove Christian ran past Greater Cabarrus Stallions (Concord, NC), 50-42, in a non-league contest.
