The Center Roughriders basketball team scored 67 points and restricted the visiting Hemphill Hornets to 45 in the Roughriders non-league victory on Friday.

The Roughriders now sport a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Longview for a non-league contest on Tuesday, November 22. Center will battle a Lobos team coming off a 61-30 non-league win over Athens (Athens, TX). The Lobos record now stands at 5-1.

The Hornets (0-1) will now prepare for their contest against Garrison (Garrison, TX). The Bulldogs come into the non-league contest with a 0-1 record. In their last contest, Garrison was routed by Martinsville (Martinsville, TX), 34-12, in a non-league contest.
