Westwood Rebels (Sloan, IA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Cherokee Washington Braves (Cherokee, IA), 60-57 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Westwood upgrades its record to 1-0 on the season. The Rebels travel to Akron-Westfield (Akron, IA) to clash with the Westerners in a non-league bout on Monday, November 28. The Westerners go into the bout with a record of 0-0.
