Hickory Grove Christian Lions (Charlotte, NC) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Greater Cabarrus Stallions Stallions (Concord, NC), 50-42 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Hickory Grove Christian upgrades its record to 2-1 on the campaign. The Lions travel to High Point Christian Academy (High Point, NC) to play the Cougars in a non-league bout on Monday, November 21. The Cougars come into the bout with a record of 0-1. High Point Christian Academy lost 66-47 in their recent non-league bout against Cannon (Concord, NC)

Next up, the Stallions play the Cabarrus Charter Huskies (Concord, NC) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, November 22. Greater Cabarrus Stallions will attempt to upgrade on its 3-2 season record. The Huskies come into the bout with a 0-3 record after their 86-26 non-league loss to 1 of 1 Academy (Indian Trail, NC).
