The North Stanly Comets (New London, NC) basketball crushed the host Central Academy Cougars (Monroe, NC), 48-24 in Friday's non-league test.
The Comets (1-0) will now prepare for their test against Southwestern Randolph (Asheboro, NC). The Cougars go into the non-league test with a 0-1 record. In their last test, Southwestern Randolph was trounced by Asheboro (Asheboro, NC), 51-34, in a non-league test.
The Cougars now own a 0-1 record. They play next when they host Union Academy for a non-league test on Monday, November 21.
