Cox Mill Chargers (Concord, NC) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Hopewell Titans (Huntersville, NC), 31-29 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Cox Mill upgrades its record to 1-0 on the season. The Chargers host Hough (Cornelius, NC) to clash with the Huskies in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 6. The Huskies go into the bout with a record of 0-0.

Next up, the Titans clash with the East Mecklenburg Eagles (Charlotte, NC) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, November 22. Hopewell will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Eagles go into the bout with a 1-0 record after their 50-21 non-league win over Berry (Charlotte, NC).
