The Liberty Christian Patriots basketball team scored 24 points and held the host Shining Light Academy Knights to 22 in the Patriots non-league triumph on Friday.

The Patriots now sport a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host New Life Christian Academy for a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 6. Liberty Christian will battle a Monarchs team coming off a 51-14 non-league loss to Northwood Temple Academy (Fayetteville, NC). The Monarchs record now stands at 0-1.

The Knights (0-2) will now prepare for their contest against Quality Education Academy (Winston-Salem, NC). The Fighting Pharaohs enter the non-league contest with a 3-0 record. In their last contest, Quality Education Academy nudged Victory Christian Center (Charlotte, NC), 59-21, in a non-league contest.
