The Weslaco East Wildcats basketball team scored 32 points and held the visiting Anderson Trojans to 22 in the Wildcats non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Wildcats now sport a 3-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Clark for a non-league contest on Saturday, November 18. Weslaco East will meet a Cougars team coming off a 54-36 non-league loss to McAllen Memorial (McAllen, TX). The Cougars record now stands at 3-3.
The Trojans (1-8) will now prepare for their contest against Harlingen (Harlingen, TX). The Cardinals enter the non-league contest with a 4-1 record. In their last contest, Harlingen ran past Anderson (Austin, TX), 46-45, in a non-league contest.
