Southwood Cowboys (Shreveport, LA) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Calvary Baptist Academy Cavaliers (Shreveport, LA), 66-64 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Southwood upgrades its record to 3-0 on the campaign. The Cowboys travel to Carroll (Monroe, LA) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league bout on Monday, November 20. The Bulldogs come into the bout with a record of 2-1. Carroll lost 56-52 in their recent non-league bout against Bossier (Bossier City, LA)

Next up, the Cavaliers play the John Paul II Cardinals (Plano, TX) in a non-league bout, on Monday, November 20. Calvary Baptist Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 1-1 season record. The Cardinals come into the bout with a 4-2 record after their 70-62 non-league loss to Steele (Cibolo, TX).
