Fort Bend Austin Bulldogs (Sugar Land, TX) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Clear Brook Wolverines (Friendswood, TX), 60-53 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Fort Bend Austin upgrades its record to 5-2 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Crosby (Crosby, TX) to play the Cougars in a non-league bout on Monday, November 20. The Cougars come into the bout with a record of 2-4. Crosby won 44-39 in their recent non-league bout against Terry (Rosenberg, TX)

Next up, the Wolverines play the Westbury Huskies (Houston, TX) in a non-league bout, on Monday, November 20. Clear Brook will attempt to upgrade on its 3-4 season record. The Huskies come into the bout with a 1-2 record after their 83-61 non-league win over Austin (Houston, TX).
