The Hammond Baptist Swordsmen basketball team scored 70 points and held the visiting First Baptist Christian to 58 in the Swordsmen non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Swordsmen now sport a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Calumet Christian for a non-league contest on Friday, December 15.

The (2-1) will now prepare for their contest against Georgetown-Ridge Farm (Georgetown, IL). The Buffaloes enter the non-league contest with a 0-0 record.
