In Saturday's non-league outing, the Ray Texans (Corpus Christi, TX) basketball squad edged the host Highlands Owls (San Antonio, TX), by a margin of 61-56.
The Texans (4-2) will now prepare for their outing against Nixon (Laredo, TX). The Mustangs go into the non-league outing with a 3-2 record. In their last outing, Nixon held off Morton Ranch (Katy, TX), 57-54, in a non-league outing.
The Owls now own a 2-3 record. They play next when they host Boerne for a non-league outing on Tuesday, November 21. Highlands will clash with a Greyhounds squad coming off a 60-59 non-league loss to Medina Valley (Castroville, TX). The Greyhounds record now stands at 6-1.
