Pinewood Prep Panthers (Summerville, SC) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host John Paul II Golden Warrriors (Ridgeland, SC), 61-45 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Pinewood Prep upgrades its record to 2-0 on the season. The Panthers travel to Cathedral Academy (North Charleston, SC) to clash with the Generals in a non-league bout on Sunday, November 19. The Generals go into the bout with a record of 2-0. Cathedral Academy won 86-47 in their recent non-league bout against Dillon Christian (Dillon, SC)

Next up, the Golden Warrriors clash with the Savannah Classical Academy Spartans (Savannah, GA) in a non-league bout, on Monday, November 20. John Paul II will attempt to upgrade on its 1-2 season record. The Spartans go into the bout with a 1-1 record after their 56-48 non-league loss to Islands (Savannah, GA).
