In Saturday's non-league match, the host Wheeler Wildcats basketball team scored a good 69-49 triumph over the Newton Rams.
In their next game, the Wildcats meet the Corner Canyon Chargers (Draper, UT) in a non-league match, on Tuesday, November 21. Wheeler will attempt to move on its 2-0 season record.
With the defeat, Newton moves to 1-1 on the year. The Rams travel to Kell (Marietta, GA) to meet the Longhorns in a non-league match on Wednesday, November 22. The Longhorns enter the match with a record of 1-1. Kell lost 81-65 in their recent non-league match against McEachern (Powder Springs, GA)
