Wheeling Wildcats (Wheeling, IL) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Argo Argonauts (Summit, IL), 36-26 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Wheeling upgrades its record to 1-3 on the campaign. The Wildcats host Waukegan (Waukegan, IL) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league bout on Monday, November 20. The Bulldogs come into the bout with a record of 2-1. Waukegan won 60-31 in their recent non-league bout against Harvard (Harvard, IL)

Next up, the Argonauts play the McHenry Warriors (McHenry, IL) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, November 21. Argo will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record. The Warriors come into the bout with a 0-3 record after their 38-26 non-league loss to Maine East (Park Ridge, IL).
